I've read ALL his books jan, not sure which detective I prefer, Grace or Banks.

I didn't like Stephen Tompkinson as Banks either, not sexy enough imo.

Stephen Tompkinson was very bad casting but like you say, not as ridiculous as the midget girly Tom Cruise as the hulking 6'5" Jack Reacher. Cruise couldn't burst his way out of a wet paper bag.

Also, Banks was a Londoner so it should've been an actor from that area.

Yeah I know but he was a Londoner who re-located to Yorkshire so he would still have his London accent.
