Can anyone reccommend a good lightweight stroller? I have a travel system, which my nine month old sits upright in but it is very heavy and bulky for folding down when I take her to nursery, which is only 5mins round the corner. It also takes up a lot of space in the buggy rack as it can turned into a pram, so you can imagine how big it is.

I have looked at various strollers online, which seem cheap (30ish) but once you have added the raincover and parasol, you're talking nearly 100 sometimes.

Ideally, I would like a stroller that is cheap and easy to use, it doesn't matter too much how durable it is as it will only be for a quick 5minute walk a few mornings a week.

Thanks all xx

why not keep an eye out for a cheap zapp?

Hi Nat (and everyone), I got one from Argos for 27 which includes a rain cover, I only got it for taking the baby round the airport when flying and it does the job, not sure it would stand up to 'hard' used but if its only for nursery and back it would do the trick.

Hope you and Emeila are doing well.

Oops, forgot to say that it has a canopy which comes down and shades the sun.
I have a little lightweight stroller that I brought brand new from a company through Ebay. It was 20 inc p&p and has a hood. It does lay back, but not very far, in fact ours is always in the lay back position as it is only a little bit reclined. It did come with a rain cover but it was completely useless so we paid 16 for a universal raincover for strollers with hoods.

We use it for things like when we go shopping, as my LO gets fed up with sitting in the trolley, and for short trips out in the car to parks etc, its much easier to quickly fold a stroller to put in the boot than it is to take my pram apart to squeeze in there lol It is ideal for wht we need it for and I would imagine would do you for the nursery runs.

Hi warpig! Not spoken to you for ages and ages!
