wow you guys are so fantastic. that only leaves two
1. A Classy Parisian (5, 6) (I think the numbers are wrong and have emailed compiler for advice) because I also think it's French fancy
2. What an unusual place to eat this little cake (4,3)

I think this quiz did the rounds in the summer and it's being recycled at my church

Have checked with the quiz setter, A Classy Parisian (5, 6) is def. the correct number of letters so not French Fancy ..... any ideas?

One final query "Originally a Christmas Italian Treat" (8) - again - I've checked that the number of letters is correct so it can't be Panettone (9) ... possibilities could be Panforte, Pizzelle or Buzzolai .... all of which seem to be Christmas treats in Italy (according to online searches .... any advice from any one?
