Can someone please comment on the correct Spanish expressions for places of birth and marriage.

Is this right?
Married XX XXX 2014
Ayuntamiento de Ciutadella [this is the impressive city hall.]
Menorca, Spain

Also one of the couple was born at Sabadell, north of Barcelona. Is it right to describe the birthplace as Sabadell, Catalonia, Spain?

I don't speak Spanish but I'd say yes and yes: registry office in the town hall (they'd probably have a separate church wedding); and you could leave out "Catalonia" if you wanted, I suppose, but as it's an autonomous (sort of half independent) part of Spain, you might as well leave it in.
