I am on the pill and have very low blood pressure but when I go to the docs for a new prescription they always check and i assume thats because it can go high in some cases?
The contraceptive pill can cause blood pressure to rise in some women. You should have your blood pressure checked at least every 12 months if you are on the pill.
usually when you go for your repeat prescription, the nurse or doctor will take you BP to check for any raise.  At least they should always check.
it made my blood pressure rocket!!
