It's terrible.... I also find it a bit of an insult to what our troops really do, washed our filtered nonsense for the masses

I only saw a brief excerpt and that was quite enough, I'm afraid I'm with Slapsot on this, it's more like Coronations Street goes to war than anything, truly dreadful soap claptrap, and I doubt even vaguely representative of the reality :(

I don't think she's an awful actress at all but it was always going to be hard to not be viewed as Stacey, that's all I can see too. I agree with Slapshot that I don't think it's a true portrayal of what our troops endure but Lacey Turner didn't write the script.

It promised lots and has delivered very little. I have never seen the lead actress in anything else before this and i think she is a very average actress and certainly not good enough to carry this storyline, even as flimsy as it is. Nothing happens, then nothing happens, then she puts the lives of her comrades in danger by disobeying orders, then someone gets injured, she fixes them, is congratulated for doing her job, end of episode. And now it looks as if it's nothing but a love story after all. I will not be tuning in for the next episode. There must be grass growing somewhere i can watch.
