Introduce them to each other on neutral terratory....down the park (if innoculations allow), in a friends garden etc.

Allow them to have a good play with each other....a bit of rough and tumble etc

Then bring them together and just let them get on with it....but keeping an eye out on them. Make sure both dogs have their own beds etc and a bit of sanctuary from each other.

Can't add much, excellent answer. I would just say don't tell the older dog off if he 'corrects' the pup for being too rough or won't leave him alone - it is how they learn and what their mum would do. He will soon learn to have a bit of respect.

Also make sure you give the older dog the same (or even more) amount of fuss as he had before because his nose may be out of joint with the youngster getting all the attention.

Make sure the older dog doesn't pinch the young one's food (or vice versa).
