Help!

What's the proper name for those houses with the garage directly underneath? I don't mean the ones on stilts, a la Ramsey Street - the ones in cities?

Thanks

Do you mean 'integrated' where the garage is part of the ground floor?

Or the underground garage type?
Integral garage ???
In this area houses with a garage and bedroom on the ground floor, main living area in the middle floor, with bedrooms and bathroom on the top level, are known as "Town Houses".
No idea if this is the universal definition but definitely accepted here in Central Scotland.
I live near London and I would call it a town house, but if the description said Georgian townhouse I would not expect to see a garage!

Mews house! Thats it. Thanks sddsddean!

I was originally thinking along the lines of "integrated" but couldn't remember the word, but it was actually "mews". Thanks everyone.

Definitely "mews" especially if you keep cats!
