I've grown tomatoes for the first time and although a have a good crop I've noticed that some of them are splitting their skins and they're still green. What am I not doing or what am I wrong ?. Thank you.

Split skins can be a consequence of irregular watering.
Inconsistent watering tends to be the most common reason. A little water everyday and feed as per instructions.

My tomatoes are only just turning red now. They are kept in a plastic covered greenhouse. I leave the door slightly open so there is enough air flowing in case it gets too humid and they start to rot.

Let me know how you get on x
