Go to settings and click on your air plane mode
By clicking on airplane mode this will disconnect your wi fi then you can play your games
She's asking about movies, not games.

Tina, do you have a favourite movie download website? If not I would suggest having a mooch around to find one which supports the apple format (M4v or MP4). There are also apps which will play AVIs (GoodPlayer, BUZZ Player, AVPlayerHD / ProPlayer).
Hi zac I am not very tech but I would have thought if her films are already downloaded which tina does not say if they are it would be the same . I don't download films but I do have an IPad .I have downloaded films off tv channels and watched them when I am at places with no wifi .
Dangerous assumption.
Just trying to help out as I had to learn that way . Nice that there are people out there with more knowledge .
You can download films from BBC iPlayer. I also download from Sky using Sky Go. You can then watch them without an internet connection. As stated turn on airplane mode.
Ditto Marje that is what I do also .
You need to download whatever you wish to watch whilst on your flight before you leave. Make sure your ipad is on full charge. Go to settings and select Airplane mode. And whilst one your flight watch away
