I am using my IPad away from home on a Caravan Club Wifi. This last couple of days every time I click into a question it automatically goes into a page saying "Safari update, your video player needs updating. There is an agreement to tick but nowhere does it mention Apple, and I think there is a charge. I'm not happy with this because it only comes up in The AB web page. I can watch YouTube videos from, say the BBC website and it doesn't come up with that. I am not prepared to tick anything, which means I can't go into certain parts of AB, sUch as crosswords. Oh dear, glad I'm home on Tuesday!.

I know nothing about iPads. Nevertheless, being aware that there have been of recent some Fake sites popping-up in AB, I think this could be one such 'nasty'. If it is the case, then getting home on Tuesday is hardly likely to alter matters.

Do Not click open the supposed'update'.

Hopefully a Techie with good knowledge of iPods will post here very shortly.

Hans.
Sorry ^^^^^ Typo...In Last para I meant iPads...Not as I said, iPods.
