With all the turmoil in the Middle East and the terrorist threat level raised how should our Government now react to individual countries like Syria and Iran who are both trying to tackle IS.

The UK has major issues with Assad and Iran's nuclear capability and yet we are friendlier with Saudi Arabia but there are question marks about funding IS.

Who are our friends and who are our enemies? It's getting hazier....

Jeza, I can see you will not be 'drawn'. There is no way we can afford to ignore this situation. It is not a matter restricted to only one continent.

The seeds of the Colonialism and Imperialism now bear fruit and the sowers cannot just ignore it or their societies that thrive on oil will collapse.
As sandyRoe said, there never were any real friends or enemies, just business interests and people to manipulate to best profit your needs.

Clothes pegs all round and more hypocrisy/head in the sand, "I didn't do it" and "but I need petrol for the car" badges for us all .

sevenOP - thanks, a stark assessment...
If WW3 Ever came about & conscription returned to the UK, you would certainly see who will leave this country, then the trouble would be in one place.
