I want to buy the newest version of MacBook Air (June 2014 model) I understood that all the newest models contained SSD solid state drive instead of HDD, hard disk drive. However I came across the model I thought was what I wanted (online) until I noticed it said HDD in the title, even though it was advertised as 2014 model. This confused me as to whether it was the newest model or not.
Somebody told me that SSD is listed as PCIe-based flash storage on the official apple website.

What exactly was the HDD in the title of the macbook that I saw advertised, if this is the case?

Thanks

If you want the latest go to an apple store in person or on line. Apple don't do sales or offers etc. go into an Apple store they really are helpful
My macbook Air is two years old and has got flash storage and so had the one before that
The macbook PRO had got a hard drive.
Only the non retina display MB PRO now has a hard drive (1/2 TB or 1TB). All retina MBP's and Airs are now Solid State Drives
