If it is for you spend it. I got all of £1500 from my mum's estate and I bought a new Dyson and a new PC, I spent the rest on kids and grandkids.
share it with you're children. always better to give than receive.
You could do both, hippyhoppy. Spend some on the kids and also treat yourself.
If you spend it on something for yourself to make you really, really happy your kids will benefit from that.....☺

I've already paid for the flights and the holiday home.. so if I give them £200 in euros each.. is that too stingy?
No, not in my opinion hippyhoppy.
You could buy a biker a pint :)
no.....that's perfect, then spoil yourself. enjoy :)
I didn't give my kids any cash from my inheritance but we did have some nice days out and they appreciated where the treats come from.

Dave, you're next time over Swarkstone.. the pint's on me..
Excellent - but it will be lime/soda, if I'm on the bike :+)

After a yip yap with the old fella, we think £200 each.. then splash out (me..not him!!) thanks for your comments.. (and sorry for being a pain the *** AGAIN!!)
I'm a cheap date :+)
the only thing I ever inherited was a pari of toenail clippers an uncle found among my grandfather's effects. They did the job, though, so no complaints.
Family treats would be nice but not necessarily a hand out to them. Enjoy

I would keep half for myself and give the rest to the kids.
