Ed, At least twice in the last two weeks I have seen some very unnessesary not to mention disturbing responses to some posts in the Animals & Nature category. See here and here . An occasional joke is one thing but suggesting that an animal be abused is going too far. This website and the people who use it are awesome and give some very helpful advice. The last thing i want is to get anyone " banned " but I shouldnt have to not visit this site to avoid seeing those responses. Its obvious that I happen to love animals and Its a known fact that alot of thier behavior is in thier nature, they dont do it on purpose to see how mad we get. If these people dont like certain animals, they have no reason to even read the questions reguarding them.

I wholeheartedly agree with you Drisgirl - we've had our fair share of people walking their dogs past our house at night & leaving one of these in the drive for us to clear up the next morning - it is so infuriating!

You can't blame the dogs though - it's the owners!

I'd love to find out where they live, shovel it all up & post it through their letter boxes!

You sound as organised as me - I'll be thinking of you all and imagining the mayhem:)Tell Mrs Nox she will probably go thro the night hence leaving you to run about like a headless chicken:).Looking forward to your news - awra best!!!
smudge - thats why I waited and cornered the owner and that did the trick. She was left in no doubt that I seriously would have picked it up (in a bag) and followed her to see where she stayed.Never had a problem since. It absolutely is the owner - i agree with you.
sorry-first post was for Nox.

Nox- your fault for picking that user name cos she will go at night - meant to say that in my other post.Thats just an addendum - dont answer cos you should get to bed and get as much sleep as you can get:)

Thank you all for your replies, its good to know im not the only one that feels that way.

Hi peanut

I would tend to agree that most of those comments are tongue and cheek but please report them and they will be considered for removal or edited - as some have been.

We cannot guarantee good taste on this site - as we cannot in 'real life' but we have intervened before when a poster was insinuating that they were abusing their own pet cat - don't want to relate specifics but just want to assure you that we do take animal abuse seriously and any claim will be properly reviewed.

Just ban them
can the editor explain why my answer was deleted who could it possibly offend if people [including me ] are not offended by q+a's on subjects like period pants and leakages, the frequency of ones stools and mark almonds drinking habits

Morning dilf - just popped by & read your last question.

You'd already said 'sorry for moaning' & I thought that was the end of it.

Why don't you send this link in an an email to the AB Ed, via the Contact Us below, asking why your answer was deleted.

Chin up!

Didn't find your answer offensive dilf. Just took it lightly. My reply and Smudge's now look totally silly!
