Just been to Wilko's for some engine oil. Two litres for £8, or, buy the larger 5 litre container of the same oil for £22. Bargain!

Sorry, I've not got time to do the maths, Graham-W. I'm off to Asda to buy a pack of 12 tins of their own-brand cat food for £5.17. I mean it's just got to be cheaper than buying two packs of 6 at £1.99 each, hasn't it? ;-)

It's OK if you've got somewhere to store it.... we can rarely buy in bulk to make savings, as we don't have the room.
Ha ha!
Boxtops Think you have missed the point of the post.
Thet're all at this game. Usual excuse I get is "Oh the one that works out cheaper is new stock and it's just come in at a lower price". Buyer Beware.

Not much of a bargain there!

That's an even bigger bargain than mine, Chris.
Always think you have got to study the BOGOF an special offers, that are sometimes more expensive
Chris, if you have a Jollyes pet shop near you - a huge box of 96 pouches of Felix are £25 at the moment. Approx 25p per packet. Bargain.
Boxtops - What if I haven't got a cat?
Yeah, I didn, sirO - Tesco's used to be good at that..... :-)

Well wiltsman, you can flog 'em at a profit to someone who does!
25p per (100g) pouch, Boxtops, is equivalent to £1 for a (400g) can, whereas I usually pay between 33p and 46p per can (depending where I'm buying, which brand, and what offers are on). My little darlings do like the stuff in pouches but, with 5 of them to feed, they won't be getting it too often!
At that price they're such a bargain I'd buy them even though I don't have a cat either. :-)
