Problem With Setting Up Hotmail On Ipad Air

I'm trying to set up access to my Hotmail account on my new iPad but can't get it connected. Keeps telling me that my username or password is incorrect. I've checked both several times, clearing and re-typing repeatedly so I know they are right. Any ideas what the problem could be? Accessing my Hotmail perfectly well on laptop via Outlook and Windows 8 Mail. Gmail appears to be working on the iPad but I don't use that account so not sure.

Thanks for the suggestion but I've been in that site already. Didn't make any difference unfortunately. Just can't figure it out. Assume I can probably just go into the Apple shop and ask someone.
