Why do you want to know Sipowicz?

What difference does it make?

The modern generation is not interested in the "old ones"..."wrinklies" and as one present generation ABer posted:

"What does he know about sex, he is 80+?"

It matters not a jot when or even if old age starts.
It's all in the mind,at 74 I don't feel old/elderly, ok,I don't act like a teenager,or dress like one, but at times I still think of things as I did then, giggle at what amuses me, and am still learning new things. I think back to when I was a teenager and how older people dressed and looked 'elderly' at 40, because it was expected of them , I think my generation began rebelling ,in a good way, and from the 1960s have evolved into the people we are now
You know you are middle aged when you can't understand what the young uns see in that music they listen to.
If the average life expectancy is around 75 then surely we need to divide by 3 to get the limits for youth, middle, and old ? So 0 - 25 is young, 25 - 50 middle, 50 - 75 is old, and beyond 75 is borrowed time.
Hang on Old Geez, I come out as old on your new system!

You are probably on borrowed time if your avatar is realistic.

Sqad, it was this article that got me thinking. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2683206/Worried-youre-old-inked-Dont-youre-31-Cut-points-towering-heels-tattoos-baseball-caps-goatees-revealed.html
It doesn't make any difference at all. I was just curious what other people thought.
I am 58, I retired at 55 (ill-health). Technically I am a "pensioner", but not I think an "old age pensioner".
I think the government have got it about right, 65 seems about right to me.
I just worry a lot Hoppy.
What do you worry about OG? What might be living in that beard of yours?
I sort of started referring to myself as middle aged when I hit 40.
It may be due to the people i work with, but i consider 80 young, 85 middle-aged and 90 plus, elderly.
Naw, the menagerie is fine thanks Till.

It's more where my next tinny of Tennents Super is coming from. Or I'd settle for a White Lightning.
