Why am I so worried about getting pregnant?

I'm not terribly sure about why I'm so worried about getting and being pregnant. My boyfriend and I always use condoms, just before he cums, he pulls out, ejaculates into the condom, and then throws it out. He has told me that everything is ok, and I believe him.I know I'm being the safest I can be, and I know I'm not pregnant, but I've still got this inert , inner fear I am.

I've been told it's cuz.I'm not.ready.for sex, which I really don't believe

My parents have told me that a kid could ruin me, and that having.one could doom me.

I don't hate kids, I love them .

Why am I so scared? I know for sure I'm not pregnant, but I'm still scared
My body is still showing the signs of not being pregnant, discharge and all, but I'm still worried

Sounds to me a if having a baby has been pitched to you as the end of the world and much guilt etc has been laid on you regarding it. I think that's why you are feeling so weird about things. Improve your chances of never becoming pregnant by both using the pill for contraception and a condom for both contraception and sexual health reasons and enjoy your life and chill out.

To quote Bruce Springsteen

That really is a Russian roulette approach to birth control
first of all do a pregnancy test-clearblue is quite good because if you are pregnant (and it sounds like you arent) it will tell you how many weeks. if your boyfreind is using condoms there is no need for him to pull out and ejaculate into it. You can also buy spermicides to use with condoms if you are extra worried but generally condoms are safe unless you are quite dry or having very rough sex-just make sure you are not dry and the condom should not break
If you did get pregnant-its not the end of the world, it wont doom or ruin you at all, look how many successful and famous people have babies-has it doomed or ruined them? No. And even normal people like us, who have children, it always turns out to be a blessing and we live in a country where there is a lot of help on offer so you wont be left on the scrap heap. Just remember that if you did ever want a baby that its with the right person who is going to support you and be happy for you and help you, and that you have been together for a while. It doesnt matter if the baby isnt planned, but its better to talk things through with your boyfriend about these future things
