Browsing last week's RT, I find that the original series, featuring the late Bob Peck, is being repeated, Mondays, 10pm, BBC4.
Strangely, they have yet to plug the re-run on their main channels. I've been waiting years for another chance to see it again!
1/6 went out on 30th June, 2014 and might still be viewable on iPlayer.

I missed it too- suddenly my Mother was really excited and said oh you have to watch this ( which is so rare the moment needed framing) and I missed the start :( Good news however is it's nice and cheap on amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Edge-Of-Darkness-Complete-Series/dp/B00004CYR0
