The answer demonstrates why I don't do crosswords, - they are beyond my ken. Can someone explain what it means, is it supposed to be a straight, literal answer, or something fiendishly complicated, because the word is derived from;
Gk /idios -private/, /sun - with/ krasis - mixture/ .
I can't see how anything here applies to David Hockney's paintings. Whether or not you like them, they are certainly accessible.
