Poor Fashion Websites

Anyone else noticed the big name store websites have terrible wishy washy images for the fashions on their websites, some hardly in colour. How can I decide what to buy when the detail isn't clear or even the exact colour? Very strange decision on the part of the web designers for the store.

I don't spend much time on fashion websites but, from my brief visits there (usually trying to find answers to AB questions) I can say that I've never experienced the problem myself.

Are you sure that your monitor is correctly set up? You need to make sure that you can see all of the numbers, from 0 to 10, on the bottom two grey scale lines here, while ensuring that the left hand blocks are pure black and the right-hand ones brilliantly white. The colours should also be strikingly vibrant:

Don't have that problem with sites I visit Ann - many have a zoom in option and images of the garments from all angles, also quite a few have video clips, so you can see how the garment moves when it is worn.
