The plastic plunger on the top of your toilet has broken. http://i60.tinypic.com/2zityjd.jpg Please can anyone identify the make and where I can just buy a replacement. The loo works very well, it's just that the plastic lug has broken off.
Many thanks, Bramleyboy.

This isn't going to be easy, Bramley. Non-standard fitting by the looks of it. There are plenty of replacements, but they tend to be round fittings. I did see one oval shaped, but nothing like yours ............ http://toiletspares.co.uk/spare_buttons_28.html# This is a real pain sometimes, with all the nice, stylish (non standard) suites available....

This is a real pain sometimes, with all the nice, stylish (non standard) suites available. Bathstore is one of the worst offenders.

Are there any markings at all on the cistern, or the syphon mechanism?

Thank you Builder! I feel I'm keeping you busy! It's a good lead and worth a try. I can't really get the top off and there are no makes or marks on the cistern. But thank you for the lead. Bramleyboy

Thank you again Builder. I have managed to get a replacement unit from Toiletspares. They were very helpful and efficient.
Thanks for that, Bramley. I'll remember to use them myself :o)
