Sorry if this is in the wrong section! 17 years ago I was in a private hospital for a week. They had a fantastic thing for holding books so you could read lying in bed. It was about 3~4foot high on a pedestal with a bendable arm. The book support was made of acrylic so you could have the book facing downwards and you could lie down and look up or sit down and put the book the right way round and read it. I have never seen one since and do not know what they're called. Any hope someone might know anything!!! Many thanks, Bramley

This is expensive but is it along the right lines?

Prudie, You're an Angel!! I don't know how you did it but that is the thing. The one at the Nuffield was brass so even more expensive. I'll save for it. I'm amazed because I've been looking for years, even wrote to the Nuffield! Thank you again,Bramley.
