Part one last night.........absolutely ludicrous plot ('plot', I laugh) and matching dialogue!Warren Clarkes' character comes across as an ill mannered, ignorant clod with an overstuffed ego........I hope that it is not based on a real policeman. It beggars belief that such a person could reach the rank of Chief Superintendent.

Having been arrested for murder he insults the Dutch police as to their methods of investigation.Later, after being bailed he decides to do a runner! Typical police procedure,is it?

What a load of tripe....I shall not watch part two and regret I didn't watch ITV...The Commander, although lately that channel hasn't been very watchable.

You were quite right not to see part two - it just got more stupid. Although I did watch it to the end the plots were so involved it was nonsensical. However you did not miss much either in the Commander - funny how they both involved Dutch detectives and latest date-rape drug.

Imight add that the club 'Blue Parrot' must be the only one in the world where you can buy a 'glass' of Champagne!! Try that in London and you'd get a bottle for 250!!
