My old curtains are 90 x 90 inches. I am looking at fabric which is priced in sq meters - does anyone have any idea how to convert and how many meters I would need? Grateful thanks, Carol

It's 229cm x 229cms. How many metres depends how wide the fabric is.
Just to add, if it's a big pattern on the fabric, you'll have to allow for matching it up.
You could measure them in centimetres, carol
Each of your 90x90 curtains is roughly 5 and a quarter square metres....for pricing purposes.
I have never heard of fabric being priced by square meters. Priced in meters by length, yes, but not in square meters. Is this some special kind of insulating fabric by any chance ?
I haven't heard of that either, it's always metres in length, irrespective of the width.
