I am in the process of decorating my bathroom, we have a big wooden boat that is hung up I painted it a beautifull ocean blue, I loved it that much I decided to paint the bath panel with the same paint not realising that it was just a matt paint, can anyone tell me if there is a laquer or a substance that I can put on top of the paint on the bath panel to waterproof it, I would still like it to look matt but not shiny or glossy, it looks really good, I hope someone can give me some advice,
many thanks,
Jo

That stuff should protect your paintwork, josaphine.
Would have thought any varnish would have worked. You can get matt finish.
