I am sure I read somewhere that this programme has been revamped and under another name - anyone any info?

The version i am using is called Microsoft AntiSpyware.

Yeah, I am too, but I read somewhere in the last week or so that Microsoft had a new version out but with a new name.

OK, I sussed it - it is now called "Defender" but as it's a beta programme (Not 100% tried and tested, for anyone who doesn't know) I shall give it a miss for now.

MS Antispyware was also beta. Defender is even better but will only install on validated copies of their OS
