I'm trying to find a village, community or area in Northern Ireland called "The Diamonds Forth". I think the spelling of "Forth" is correct although it might be "Fourth". The only other clue I have is that it might be near Ballykelly/Banbridge area of County Down.

I'm trying to find an ancestor who formerly lived in this "Diamonds Forth" place but then moved to the Ballykelly/Banbridge area. I suspect the two areas were quite near to one another

The Surname involved was "Orr", possibly William Orr.

Thanks

Just asked someone who thought would know and he confirms that there is no Diamond's Forth area that he knows of, however he thinks it perhaps might refer to a cross roads in Co Armagh near to Portadown which is called The Diamond- perhaps the our roads that came from it were considered areas and it is in fact therefore The Diamond's Fourth (Road)- as places can be pretty vague in rural Ireland. Hope this helps, not sure it will.
"The Diamond, which was a predominantly Protestant area, is a minor crossroads in County Armagh, lying almost half-way between Loughgall and Portadown"
