My Daughters Hotmail Account Has Been Hacked

My daughters hotmail has been hacked and she is unable to log on. She has given me her password and ask that I log on for her. If I do this am I leaving my own laptop open to the hackers?
Any any ideas.

If she can't log on, you or her will need to go through the account recovery steps.
