Does anyone use one and does it work?

Although most tins have ring pulls these days, OH is completed defeated by the the old fashioned variety and I,m wondering if its worth investing in a left handed opener or whether they are as cumbersome as the right handed versions.

There used to be a shop called "Anything Left Handed" they may still be in operation, the last time I checked it out there was a website.

Failing that I use a battery operated one that you sit on top of the can and then you press the button and off it goes and opens the can - I think it was bought at Lakeland

Thanks Nungate. i'll check out Lakeland etc. There's a fair selection online, Amazon and the like, I just wondered if anyone here uses one and can tell me if they are any good.
I use one standing upside down.....
Never actually used a left handed one myself, Maydup though I do use the battery operated one, just muddled along using right handed one's, all that was available at the time hard living in a world geared to right handed people!

Doesn't that give you the hiccups DTC?
When I was first married nothing was designed for us lefties so we had to adapt. Now there are two lips on a milk pan, the flex on the iron comes out of the back etc etc etc.
Anything Left Handed is only online these days - just checked
There's an on-line site for gadgets especially for left handed people. Very useful.
That's it nun.
They know how to charge Bernie. At a tenner I'll stick to my 39 pence one from Wilco.
dont blame you x

Yes, swivel kettles, cordless this and that, life is generally easy; but OH still has a fight with a tin opener and with the secateurs, so its time to waste my money maybe and by him some lefties.

Does anyone know if any of them work?
There's only one gadget that matters and this is it.

And it works.
