Is there a time limit for taking a shot ? And,if so,what is it,please ?

I don't think there is a specified time but should the referee decide the player is time wasting I think they have the responsibility of telling the player the game may be awarded to their opponent if they don't get on with it.
There is no time limit but when Betfred took over the annual Premier League Snooker comp, in 2005, they introduced a 25 second shot clock which made for some very interesting snooker, indeed.
