I'm sure folks are losing the plot on Deal or No Deal, a chap just turned down £30,000 and went away with absolutely nothing.

Don't you just hate it when people get greedy

No, ^^ I laugh!
But you are a self admitted old grump though Baldric!

haha Baldric, I must say it does serve them right.
I bet he was gutted. There must have been a bigger prize that he was hoping to get.

He was, he had £100,000 and £1,000 left which is obviously a big risk but he went for it and the box had £1,000 in it. He then tried to redeem it by buying Box 23 with the grand but it had nothing inside.
But faced with a 50/50 chance between the £100000 and £1000, if he'd taken the £30000 offer and it turned out his box had contained £100000 he'd have had regrets then too.
He came with nothing so didn't lose anything.
Everybody was stunned when he said 'no deal' to £30,000, even Noel. I would definitely have dealt, a 50/50 chance of £1000,000 being in my box just wasn't enough. And he needed the money too, silly man. Wonder what his wife said to him ??
^£100,000
How many times has the top prize been won ?
8 (I think).
He was foolish to turn down £30,000 he went on so much about wanting to help his family especially his sons he said his mind went blank when he said no deal, it is such a huge amount of money, after you deal the figures on the board are only numbers. Noel acts like Jim Bowen on Bullseye, Here's What You Could Have Won!!
