I wish to be able to operate my Sky+HD box (Amstrad) using my Smart Remote app on my Galaxy S5. I can get my Sony TV to work but cannot tune in my Sky box. I have tried to set up as 'change room' etc but cannot get the box to power on etc. what might I be doing wrong? Many thanks and Happy Easter.

Does the app say you're able to operate the sky box from it? Sky have their own app to use with the boxes.

The app says it does. Which Sky app controls the actual Sky box? Again thanks for any assistance

Dumb question but have you downloaded the app for SKY+ ?

Ignore my last post, I wasn't reading your question properly, I have the SKY+ app from Google Play store downloaded and I can remotely tune into my SKY box from this anywhere.
