Formatting a Microsoft Word 2007 document on an IPad

Does anybody know of an easy-to-use I-Pad App which will let me read a Word document in the same format as it was typed. By email, I regularly receive academic documents that include footnote references but the notes themselves are never shown when I open the attachment. Fonts and spacing always seem to have changed too. I need an App that will let me read a Word document in the same format as it left the sender's computer.
