Recovering Deleted Emails

I have deleted by accident an email I needed to keep. does anyone know how I can get it back please

Is it still in your trash folder?
Or could you ask the sender to resend it?

There should be folder called 'recently deleted emails' or similar and it should be in there if you haven't cleared this folder

its not in trash folder and I cant get in touch with sender till tomorrow.

On Outlook there is a box on the left of the screen that lists Folders, Inbox, Junk, Drafts, Sent, Deleted and New folder. If your is the same just click on deleted and send it back to your inbox.

On my home and my work emails, when you delete something it goes to another folder - deleted items. At home it stays there forever unless you go in and delete what is in your delete folder. At work it stays in the delete folder for a day or two and then automatically really deletes. I have never had emails that the first delete really means they are gone.

It would have helped if I knew what e/mail programme you are using.

When you delete an e/mail, it is normal for it to be transferred to another folder, from which it can be recovered.

Gmail....Bin

Yahoo....Trash

Outlook...Deleted.

Windows Mail....Deleted Items.

If you cant find it using all of the options here download and run the free program called RECUVA and it should find it for you
