Just Tried Google Drive.
Through IE8 you need an applet to upload folders eather than files which lkeeps defaulting back to just files.
Through Google Chrome it works on Folders but is taking hours to upload 300mb of pictures.
My Virgin upload speed is 1.2mbs on my 10mbs package.
Anyone else getting problems like this.
It is back to DropBox I think.

With that comparison I do believe that Google Drive is really way better. Maybe Google Drive is just encountering problems during the time when you are uploading your files.

Still very slow compared to uploading to Picasa or Flickr or Microsoft SkyDrive.
No one else seems to be moaning about it so I will keep trying.
5 picture files jpg have been uploading for 10 minutes and are at 87% as I type this response.
