After a divorce where the father must pay 15% of his pay in maintenance, is that 15% of nett pay, or gross, and as the payment varies each month (a downward spiral) can the estranged partner insist on seeing the pay slips or even get it taken out by his employer. Thanks..

I think she can get the money taken from the employer if she applies for a "garnishee order"

but she would need a court order for that and in order to get one show the judge that the father wasnt paying up.

for which of course she would need the pay slips and I dont think he is under a duty to show her.
