I have quite a few red and green peppers which I would like to freeze. Has anyone any advice on the best way to do this, i.e.Shall I slice them and do they need to be blanched. Thanks for any help.

Don't blanched.Just slice them.
Peppers are mainly water and freeze really well. Advice in Society's link says to blanch them, but do as Puss says, and don't.
Don't blanch. I freeze a lot of peppers at work, and never blanch.
Actually I have some peppers in the freezer. They've been in there since December and they are fine. I washed and dried them, then cut in to chunks and put them in a zip-lock and in the freezer. Occasionally I'd take out a handful for stews or whatever when needed.
I always take advantage of the like of Lidl's offer the other day of a three-pack of peppers for 98p. (Our local Co-Op wants 90p - each!. No wonder they're in trouble). Anyway, I slice them and pop them, in a bag, straight into the freezer. No problem.
