Where are you ?.. I had sunstroke in California once, terrible took about a week to feel better, throwing up etc....hope you're better soon..
What did the Hospital advise ?
Goodness, where are you?
Gawd, you have my sympathy, beezaneez, I have had sunstroke in Benidorm and I thought I was dying. Was there for two weeks and spent one week of it stuck in the hotel bedroom.
Forgot to say, try and keep as cool has possible.
Increase fluids, cool showers or sponge downs if too wobbly to stand under the shower.

Ice packs under armpits and in groin area - re contact the ED that treated you if temperature doesn't fall for more advice.
who diagnosed heat stroke ?
If it is as bad as you describe, then taking fluids by mouth will be a waste of time. You said that you were dripped yesterday, I would go back to A&E as it sounds as though you will need IV fluids again.
I have presumed a Hospital Anne as they are usually ones who put someone on IV Drips - but just a guess.
You need a little bit of sugar, some salt tablets and plenty of liquids. Keep drinking preferable sweet still squash to hydrate yourself and rest up.
I agree with sqad,a&e, if it is indeed heat stoke.
Ah, you think they may have misdiagnosed yesterday ? It is possible, but I also agree, needs more attention back with them.
A&E - We all tend to underestimate the importance of water to our bodies.

I had heat stroke once many years ago and it was awful.

if he was treated and given I/v fluids for heat stroke, he obviously was not given enough , ?
On that we agree.
