Hi Laura, no you didn't murder it, I quite enjoyed it. that was the song that started my crush that lasts to this day on Debbie Harry.

aww wish i was going! i was daft on them as a teen lol
I first saw Blondie at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1977, with Television I think. They were fantastic, just brilliant. But I saw them a few years ago and they were awful. No Jimmy Destri any more, and Debbie really could hardly sing the old songs. Shame.

aww thats a shame i guess when you have seen them at there best its hard to watch them later on in life!

You went from singing "Oh Darnie doo be do" to "Denise Denise" instead of "Denis Denis" lol

LOL! I once saw a jukebox where this was listed "Denis (Denee)".

Not murdered it, just didn't give it enough energy. Go for it more enthusiastically and you could succeed, the ability seems to be there but confidence lacking.

P.S. Adoration of Blondie saw me through early middle-age :).

You sound alot like her. You should start a Blondie tribute band.
Competent. Good karaoke presentation. But you need to loosen up a bit, let yourself go, lose what I assume are the nerves. Give it all you've got rather than concentrate on getting notes clinically right. It's an art form after all, and many a good voice becomes hampered by self consciousness, which I think is the case here.
