I always delete the majority of my emails when I have read them. And also delete the junk. But on my ipad it says I have 211mb of mails . Sometimes it will drop down 2 but still keeps going up . Where can I find all these mails I am supposed to have to completely free the space. This is over a period of 4 months this has gone up wonder what it will say in another 4 months . Thanks for any explanation and help how to clear them.

You need to access your emails via safari and delete them there. Check your usage after to see if it worked.
Forgot to add a friend if mine did not realise this for 2 years. He had loads. He deletes every week now.

Hi thanks for reply . I do have safari and I delete mails every day .
You are probably deleting the emails from the icon on the home screen. That will delete the email from that app but not from your ipad entirely. Log into your emails from safari and delete them there also it will then give you more memory.

Just been and done it from there and there is only the six that I have had today and won't show up anymore before that
When my friend had this problem he too deleted via safari but they were still showing as using up space. His email ended in @blueyonder and he had to contact them to get them to clear it. Hope this helps also.
