Why on earth do your kids need Freeview in their room?
Depending how good your signal is an indoor aerial may be sufficient
Have they already got TV's beez?

If so buy a cheap Freeview box from somewhere like Argos and indoor aerial should be OK. If not any new TV will come with built in Freeview now.
maydup, just what I was going to say - our TV's got it built in.
The tv will need to be connected to an aerial to get Freeview.
You might be able to negotiate a free box from Virgin if you only have one, otherwise they charge £5 a month.
It should be Free..view, no need to pay subscription. Try an indoor aerial first ours works a treat and we have no Sky or cable here.
Nor have we, maydup.
