Paint/emulsion Rollers

I have a paint roller which has 2 white plastic ends to secure the roller unlike previous ones which had black caps where you took the outer one off slid on the roller and secured it by a little clip. I cannot see how to take off the outer cap to fit the roller. Any advice will be welcome.

The roller should slide across the handel BJS, pull harder.

The paint roller sleeve is a push fit. As TWR says, more effort needed!!

Have HUFFED and I have PUFFED and I have PUSHED and BINGO. Thank you both for your help.

To add, just put a slight smeam of vasoline on the metal part of the handel where the roller slides onto.
