there should be an uninstall option somewhere on your computer - do a search from your start menu for "uninstall" and it should bring up a list of all your programmes; right-click on the ones you want to remove.

i have done that jno - but "uninstall" comes up" I click it then QUIT comes up and nothing happens.
on my computer it's Control Programs > Programs > Programs and Features

When I right-click on Adobe Flash Player it says "Uninstall".
Restart your computer in safe mode. (Hold down F8 while Windows loads. If that doesn't work, press Ctrl-Alt-Del while Windows is loading and you'll get a menu). Now you can delete it from Control Panel.
sorry, I should have finished my last post.

When the uninstall option comes up, and I click on it, it brings up a panel saying "This will remove Adobe Flash Player from your computer". On the left it says "quit" and on the right it says "uninstall". Are you not getting the one on the right?
I'd keep flash off your computer if possible. If you do need it, keep it inactive until needed. Search on the internet for how to do this in your browser.
