Beautiful yes, but you folk pay for it though with the food bills, fuel bills and all the rest. It's akin to living on the Scilly Isles.....Is the Borealis showing tonight? Perhaps some pics, if possible, please???

It was visible for a few night last summer here in Belfast. It was like a faint green cloud.

Fantastic, you are so lucky Wimp. It would be my dream to see it. Did you take the picture yourself which is your avatar? Did you see the Stargazing Live programme a couple of weeks ago - they featured the Aurora Borealis.

If I gave any thought to a 'bucket list' going to see the Northern Lights would be on it. It's a bit disconcerting that they have come to me.

Saw them one evening on my way home from work in Ireland. Very seldom seen here, the conditions have to be spot on which they were that night. Spectacular.

beautiful part of the country wimp. I used to travel to Eilan Siar when my daughter lived near stornoway. I was never lucky enough to see the aurora borealis, but my daughter did and she sadi it was spectacular!
