I have two jobs, one with the NHS and the other with a private doctor. I am retiring from the NHS but still intend to work one day a week with the private doctor as I have for the past 10 years. I have been told by NHS HR that I cannot work in my other job for 4 weeks after retiring. Is this correct? I really want to continue in my one day a week job!
