It is more than likely my company will go into administration by the end of the week. My bosses have set up a new company and they will 'probably' (I have nothing in writing) tupe me over to newco.

My biggest concern is about my wages. On 28th jan I would normally be paid for the whole month of jan. If the current company goes to the administrators tomorrow, are they still obliged to pay me (and how much) on my normal pay pay? Or does newco pay me for the month? Or just from when they tupe me?

I've only worked there since May 2013 so would not be eligible for any redundancy or whatever.

Is anyone able to explain simply to me what would happen in regards to money. I'm very much panicking that I won't be getting paid this month.

Tia.

Your pay shouldn't change in the short term so you'll still get paid for January, but as to exactly when it will hit your bank account I don't know. You still have the same terms and conditions initially so I guess pay dates will be the same as usual
Did you ever get paid for December? I remember you were worried as the payment seemed to be late

Thank you Factor. So I'd still get a full months wages even if they go tomorrow? (Presumably on the contracted date).

A colleague said he'd been told by a manager we wouldn't be getting paid this month, but there's been so much said I can't decipher what's true and just rumour.

I did get it in the end, at the very end of the day, thanks.
My answer assumed it is a straightforward TUPE transfer, but I'm a bit out of touch with this area so we probably need someone like buildersmate. You are probably better asking at work, but whether you'll get a straight answer, I'm not sure

Thanks Factor, hopefully the builder will see this and advise if there's anything different to what you suggest. I'd ask at work but I've already heard so much that hadn't happened it's patently clear nobody really knows what they're talking about.
