Christmas Leftovers

Does anyone else find things from christmas lying about after they think everything has gone back into the loft. I usually do, and was determined it wouldnt happen this year !! Everything was put up into the loft last night, or so I thought !! After just having a good clean around, Ive already found 3 items, 2 in our sons bedroom which we put there to make a bit more chrismassey and a christmas linen doiley under the telephone which Ive just discovered when I went to use the phone. Maddening !! Will try harder next year LOL

Yep, same here, bagged and boxed everything, then found 3 Christmas cushion covers that i'd washed and forgot to put away with the rest of them.

Yes always! We also have a "competition" to see who finds the very last pine needle; this is usually around July!!

We worked really hard yesterday getting everything in the loft and the house tidied, just been dog walking and there's a 4ft Santa hanging from the guttering!

It's the other way round for me. I moved a pewter koala bear my son brought me from Australia and put a decoration in it's place. Put the koala some where safe, so safe that now I can't find it

Many years ago, a paper ball, completely overlooked by us, was spotted hanging in our lobby by a friend who was visiting and being tipped back in his wheelchair as he came through the front door.

Ha ha, I`m glad I`m not the only one then. I`ve since found 2 more small items under my sons bedcovers, now I`ve stripped the bed for washing. A small teddy with a christmas hat ! (my son is nearly 33) and a pair of xmas socks he must have taken off during the night. Where will it end ?? How many more days to christmas ?? Is it worth climbing back into the loft or just putting them in a cupboard (hoping I will be able to find them again )
