My husband has been given 50mg Tramadol by the doctor for a trapped nerve in his back. Up to yesterday he had been taking 400mg Ibuprofen together with Solpadeine Max, which had helped a little bit, and he forgot to ask the doctor whether he could take the ibuprofen together with the tramadol. The tramadol do not seem to be making any difference so can he take ibuprofen as well. He really does seem to need more painkillers.

Can I ask you another Sqad, the doctor said to take tramadol 2 x 50mg three times a day, and on the box it says you can take 4 times a day, which is best? He really needs the relief but listens to the doctor, Thank you

If 100mgms three times a day doesn't easer he pain, then 100mgms every 7 hours will be fine

DrFlith ,Just looked at your link^^ laughed so hard I sprayed my coffee over the keyboard.
I guffawed too. :-)
Scrivens, I think you will find that any self respecting pharmacist would just tell you to follow the GP's directions printed on the packet, after all, the pharmacist has not examined the patient or know of any past medical issues etc.

If the Pharmacist gave a patient medical advice that went against the advice of the GP. it would be highly irresponsible and he could probably lose his job.
eddied51 as soon as i saw that picture i thought of sqad -)
